Adventure at Lucca Bakery

It took me about an hour of searching for the perfect restaurant that would appeal to my appetite and preferences, and Lucca Bakery at SM Megamall had my attention. I was actually curious that the place is almost full, yet the menu board posted outside the restaurant doesn't have any photos to show and all that was written was a very short description of the dish and the price. To feed my curiosity, I took the chance and went inside. 

Here are the food which I ordered:

First on my list is their Carbonara, combination of Penne pasta, Bacon and cream sauce. The smoky flavor of the bacon, fresh mushrooms and perfectly combined herbs and spices make this dish really delicious! I did not have a hard time finishing it because it will only leave you wanting for more.

Second on my list is Lucca Bakery's Smoked Salmon sandwich! The salmon's perfectly cooked and perfectly matched with the rye bread and herbed cream cheese. They only use fresh ingredients which make the dish even more delicious! As a matter of fact. even while I am writing some of the ingredients and description of the dish makes me crave for it!

Of course, everyone is excited to try out new signature drinks whenever it's their first time in a restaurant. For me, I think I made the best decision to choose these two best-seller drinks at Lucca Bakery: Strawberry Basil Lemonade Mocktail and Organic St. Tropez Green iced tea.

Any meal wouldn't be complete if you will not finish it with some sweet treat! And I have tried their Espresso Dacquoise which is actually made of meringue combined with lots of almonds to balance the flavor.
